2025 IGHSAU 3A & 4A State Golf Tournament Hosted in Solon and Iowa City View Photo Gallery The Iowa City Area Sports Commission is excited and honored to host the 2025 IGHSAU 3A & 4A State Golf Tournament in Solon and Iowa City. The 3A Tournament will be hosted at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course in Solon and the 4A Tournament will be hosted at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City. Armbruster Open – May 9th – 11th @ Campus Recreation and Wellness Center The David Armbruster Open is an event designed to provide an early-season opportunity for athletes to swim in Long Course (50-meter) events and acquire times that they can later use to qualify to compete in other Long Course events throughout the summer. The Armbruster Open attracts teams and athletes from across the State of Iowa and other surrounding Midwest states. Learn more about Lissette Salgado-Lucas, Founder and President of Universal Ballet Competition. 2025 Iowa Middle School Basketball Championships hosted in Iowa City View Photo Gallery The Iowa City Area Sports Commission was proud to support and host the Iowa Middle School Basketball Championships March 21 -23, 2025. 104 teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Iowa competed in Iowa City and North Liberty for a state title. A huge thank you to the Palestra, Iowa City West High School, and the University of Iowa Fieldhouse for hosting teams on your courts! #WeGotNext
