NCAA Women’s Wrestling Championships to Return to Coralville The inaugural NCAA sanctioned tournament held in Coralville in 2026 proved to be a huge success for fans, athletes, and organizers. Senior Pan-American Wrestling Championships Hosted at Xtream Arena WrestleTownUSA hosted the 2026 Senior Pan-American Championships from May 7-10, 2026. Top senior-level athletes from across North, Central, and South America competed in three different styles of wrestling in Men’s Freestyle, Women’s Freestyle, and Greco-Roman. Coralville welcomed 496 visitors from 23 different countries for this prestigious event. #WeGotNext

Universal Ballet Semi-Final Competition Hosted at Hancher Auditorium 600 ballet dancers from across the country competed in a semi-final competition at Hancher Auditorium on March 20-22, 2026. The UBC semi-final featured ballet masterclasses, workshops, and competitions for the young dancers. Winners and high-scorers qualified for the Grand Prix Finals. #WeGotNext

Middle School Championship Basketball Held in the Iowa City Area 192 middle school boys and girls teams from across the mid-west competed for a championship here in the Iowa City area.
