The Iowa City Area Sports Commission and Xtream Arena have hosted the IGHSAU Girls State Volleyball Championships since 2022. The tournament features 40 teams across 5 classes. On the fourth day of the tournament 5 teams are crowned champions!

- Class 1A State Champions – Ankeny Christian Eagles
- Class 2A State Champions – Denver Cyclones
- Class 3A State Champions – Mount Vernon Mustangs
- Class 4A State Champions – Bishop Heelan Crusaders
- Class 5A State Champions – Pleasant Valley Spartans
