
IGHSAU Girls State Wrestling – February 5th-6th @ Xtream Arena
448 girls will wrestle over two days in the third sanctioned girls state tournament in Coralville.
IHSAA Boys State Duals – February 7th @ Xtream Arena
24 teams will compete, and 3 teams will become state champions at the 2026 boys state dual team tournament.
For Her Duals – February 8th @ Xtream Arena
This brand new 8-team dual tournament will feature four NAIA teams on one side of the bracket and four NCAA teams on the other side. Finals matchups will be determined based on each team’s bracket placement.
IHSAA Boys State Swimming – February 13th-14th @ Campus Recreation Wellness Center
Over 270 swimmers will compete in their high school state meet over two days in Iowa City.
Summit League Swimming and Diving – February 18th-21st @ Campus Recreation Wellness Center
Seven men’s and women’s teams will compete at their conference championships in Iowa City. Those teams are Denver, Eastern Illinois, Omaha, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Southern Indiana, and St. Thomas.
Middle School State Championship Basketball – February 27th-March 1st
Over 200 middle school teams from across the Midwest will compete at the Palestra, University of Iowa Fieldhouse, GreenState Family Fieldhouse, and West High School in this basketball tournament.
FIRST Tech Challenge – February 27th-28th @ Xtream Arena
72 teams will compete at the First Tech Challenge, with 4 teams advancing to the FIRST Championship.
NCAA Women’s Wrestling Championship – March 6th-7th @ Xtream Arena
The first-ever NCAA sanctioned Women’s Wrestling Championships will take place in Coralville. There will be 180 women’s wrestlers competing in 10 different weight classes.
MVC Women’s Basketball Championship – March 12th-15th @ Xtream Arena
11 teams will compete in this four-day conference tournament, with the championship team earning an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Universal Ballet Competition – March 20th-22nd @ Hancher Auditorium
Ballet dancers across the country will compete in a semi-final competition in Iowa City.
